I am Asif Mahmud. I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Polyfins Technology Inc., Dhaka, Bangladesh.
I am currently collaborating with Md. Kowsher and previously worked under the supervision of Mr. Ratnadip Kuri . I have also formed a research team of my own and one of our papers got accepted this Aug, 2024. My research interests are in Natural Language Processing, Efficient Fine-tuning Techniques of LLMs, LLMs in Healthcare, Information Retrieval, and NLP applications for Low-resource Languages. I have a total of 4 publications: 3 published, 1 accepted.
